The Black Cat Soap House makes gorgeously fragranced and ethically produced soaps, shampoo bars and creams. They are a vegan company and use only natural ingredients: pure essential oils for fragrance and no chemicals, preservatives, petro-chemicals or artificial ingredients. All their products contain organic unrefined shea butter because of its amazing skin healing and moisturising properties.

Everything you will find in their products, except for the organic clays and pumice stone in some of their soaps, comes directly from plants and everything used is there because it is beneficial to you in some way. Ylang Ylang and Orange: Combines sweet orange oil with the heady, exotic scent of ylang ylang. With unrefined organic shea butter to nourish your skin and poppy seeds to provide gentle exfoliation, this is a great soap to pamper yourself with.

Clary Sage and Cedarwood: A gentle and soothing fragrance. The essential oils are known to be great at reducing stress and anxiety, so this is the perfect soap to use in the bath after a busy or stressful day.

Frankincense and Tangerine: With a rich blend of essential oils, including frankincense and tangerine, this soap has a fresh and woody fragrance.

Gentle Calendula (unfragranced): A creamy soap, perfect for anyone with extra dry, sore or sensitive skin. With calendula infused oils, shea butter and organic castor oil, this soap is very gentle, soothing and moisturising and great for eczema, dermatitis or other skin conditions.

Geranium and Palmarosa: This beautifully floral soap will transport you to a summer's day! Contains organic pink clay for gentle cleansing of all skin types and essential oils to promote beautiful skin and uplift your mood.

Lavender and Rosemary: Beautifully scented. The dried root of the alkanet plant creates the gorgeous deep purple/grey colour of this soap but has also traditionally been used as an anti-inflammatory to soothe irritated or itchy skin, eczema and burns.

Nettle and mint: Fresh and minty, this soap contains spearmint essential oil and nettles, which can be very soothing for skin prone to sore and itchy conditions such as eczema, rashes, psoriasis and acne.

Pink grapefruit: A fresh but gentle and uplifting scent. Grapefruit essential oil is particularly good for cleansing oily or acne prone skin and Madder root, which creates the dark pink colour, has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat various skin conditions.

Zesty lemon: This fresh and fruity soap helps wake you up in the morning! Full of plant oils and butters, this soap is fragranced with lemon tea tree essential oil which has great anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Perfect if you have oily skin, suffer from acne, body odour or athlete's foot!

Citrus breeze: This soap has a bright and cheerful scent from a refreshing blend of essential oils including sweet orange, tea tree and bergamot.

Organic hemp and patchouli: An exceptionally moisturising soap, with organic hemp oil, great for tired and dry skin, and patchouli essential oil, which is traditionally used to treat problems such as acne, eczema and chapped skin.

Patchouli and lime: The pure fresh smell of lime essential oil in this soap adds "zing" to the sultry, earthy scent of patchouli. Lime essential oil has great cleansing properties and can be beneficial to those with inflammatory skin conditions, whilst patchouli essential oil is said to be good for acne, eczema, dandruff and even wrinkles! ​Both oils can have a positive and relaxing effect on your mood. Rooibos tea creates the rich, earthy colour and is reputed to have anti-aging effects and to be beneficial to those who suffer from eczema or acne.

Peppermint and lemon: Treat your skin and stimulate your senses with this refreshing and invigorating soap. Lemon essential oil is good for cleansing and toning oily skin while peppermint oil can help soothe irritated skin. Both oils are also known to have antiseptic properties and to be effective deodorants.

Spicy orange: Delight your senses with the warming fragrance of sweet orange and cinnamon.

Woodland Glade: Woody and fresh, this woodland glade soap contains a beautiful blend of essential oils including cedarwood, which has a soothing and calming effect on the body and mind. It is coloured with organic green clay which helps to draw out impurities. This soap will leave you squeaky clean and wonderfully moisturised!
