These organic bamboo dishcloths from Plastic Phobia are an excellent eco-friendly alternative to cotton and microfibre cloths (which release millions of microplastics when washed). Biodegradable, naturally bacteria-resistant and odour-resistant, they pop easily in the washing machine. They are also hypoallergenic and 50% more absorbent than cotton.
Available in various different colour options to help you colour code different cloths for different areas of the house.
We also have a seconds option in the white dishcloth - these are reduced price cloths that work just as effectively but are not quite perfect. Normally the stitching is a bit askew! A great bargain that avoids waste in the environment by using these items.
Plastic Phobia offer environmentally friendly products and supply chains. Most products are made from organic bamboo. Whilst the bamboo is produced in China, they offset the carbon emissions of transporting their products and require their suppliers to use minimal or plastic-free packaging. Bamboo grows extremely fast, meaning it is easily replaceable and uses minimal resources as it grows organically.

They are nice cloths for washing up. Not quite as absorbent for mopping up spills as I had expected.
Hi. Thanks for your review and feedback, it is much appreciated!
Handy size and effective.
Hi Peter - thanks for reviewing the bamboo dishcloth. We love that you love it!
Not yet used them!
Thanks for your review Gill!
Environmentally friendly which is a big plus for me. Nice size. Feels good. Can be popped in washing machine to freshen up.
Hi Dympna, thanks for your review. It's a great cloth, we're so glad you like it!
I like the relatively small size and thick feel of these cloths, just right for washing up and wiping down. Absorbent, wrings out well. Put it in the towel wash and it comes back better than ever. Definitely better than the polyester cloths I was using.
Hi Becky. Thanks for the detailed review! A really good description of the cloths. We’re glad you love them - we do too!
