Packed lunches are traditionally wrapped up in cling film, tin foil or plastic bags, which normally end up binned and in landfill. We're delighted to stock an alternative in this reusable, eco-friendly sandwich wrapper from Re-wrap it.
This wrapper not only keeps your sandwich or food fresh inside, but it also unfolds into a plate, ideal for keeping your desk clean or if you are eating outside. No more worrying about toddlers eating food from the floor or dirty picnic tables. It fits one or two sandwiches or rolls, wraps etc.
The wrapper can be used day after day with just a wipe down of the plastic food side and an occasional rinse in the sink to get rid of any spill marks on the outside – all sealed up with a Velcro strip to keep it fresh. It can also be popped in the washing machine.
At The Green Turtle, we first came across these years ago and the ones we sourced then are still going strong with regular use.
The wrappers are made in Scotland and now with the help of the inmates at Kilmarnock prison, who are paid for their work and develop skills and gain a qualification that could help them gain employment in the future.
Available in different fabric options.
LDPE plastic lining conforms with EU Regulations 2015/174.
These are just perfect for school lunchboxes
Pretty fabric. My daughter is really pleased with it.
Superb sandwich wrappers to keep your lunch in and say goodbye to cling film. Lovely material and great design.
Bought these to reduce single use plastic for my children’s lunch boxes. I’ve tried bee wax wraps but wanted to try these. I love them, they are very well made and fit sandwiches with room to spare. The Velcro makes it easy and secure to close. The children love the different colours. Only surprise was the thin plastic lining, which can be wiped clean, but it seems thin and I’m worried it could rip with lots of use.
