Shampoo bar (curly hair)

Formulated to hydrate, nourish and strengthen your hair from root to tip, these natural and sustainable shampoo bars are a perfect no-hassle solution for frizz-free curls. Using only natural, gentle cleansers, derived from coconut oil they are completely biodegradable. They are also PH balanced so there is no need to worry about a transition phase or waxy residues left in your hair, even in hard water areas!

To use: Wet the shampoo bar in warm water and rub it together in your hands to activate it. Then rub the bar over your head and the lengths of your hair, creating a lather. Massage the lather into your scalp and through the lengths of your hair and then rinse with water. If you just love lots of lather, or if you are living in a very hard water area, then feel free to shampoo twice!

Most curly hair routines call for no less than 5 products (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner and 2 styling products), usually in plastic bottles. Recommended combinations:

Wavy hair - can be easily weighed down, and is more prone to build up than other curl types, so Bean and Bee recommend using their clarifying peppermint shampoo bar for a deep cleanse.

Curly/coarse hair -  Coarse hair tends to struggle more with dryness, as it’s harder to get moisture to penetrate all the way into the hair shaft, and to lock it in once it’s there. For tighter curl patterns, it’s also harder for the oils from your scalp to travel down to the ends of your hair to keep it conditioned. Bean and Bee recommend using their extra gentle baobab shampoo bar, for that super gentle cleanse that won’t strip any excess moisture or oils away.
