A natural plastic-free hair conditioner bar that smells gorgeous!
Superfly Soaps are handmade in Kincardine, Scotland by an environment loving foodie, resulting in a range of natural soaps that are (almost!) good enough to eat! Made using a traditional cold process method (excluding the animal fats that were traditionally used), all soaps and shampoo bars are cured for around 5 weeks so you get a long-lasting bar.
This solid conditioning bar is a great partner to go with Superfly Soap’s shampoo bars. Use after shampooing to detangle and condition your hair. Simply wet the bar and rub between your hands then lightly run the bar from roots to tips to ensure an even spread. Comb through if desired and then rinse thoroughly.
Great for travel
Free of palm oil
Look after your bar to ensure it lasts as long as possible. Keep it out of water when not in use. A soap dish or wire rack in your shower is ideal.
Superfly Soaps have been awarded Plastic Free Champion status from Surfers Against Sewage. Superfly Soap products are produced in a nutty environment so please bear this in mind for any nut allergies.

As per my review of the shampoo bar, I also bought the solid conditioner bar in orange and spice to match.
When I initially started using the bars I used the shampoo and conditioner as I normally would. I was aware of the transition period but I've also had to do a bit of learning on how this conditioner interacts with my hair.
I found during the first week, my hair wasn't ready for the natural oils of the conditioner, alongside the increase in the oils in my hair during the transition phase. I decided to wait until my hair had adjusted to the shampoo, and then started to introduce the conditioner.
Initially I was using far too much, sliding it across my hair (which is mid-short and thick). My hair kept feeling a little... solid, and I definitely wasn't washing it out well enough. After around a week of trail and error I found twirling my hair into little spikes I can warm up the bar and swipe it on the tips of the spikes. Then using my fingers to massage it in, leave it a minute or two while I do other shower things, then rinse and comb it out thoroughly. If I think I'm done, I give it a bit more.
After finally figuring out how much I needed my hair feels great. It's smooth, shiny, and soft to the touch. The dry ends of my hair feel like they're starting to repair after being poorly bleached a year ago.
This bar doesn't lather so if you're used to a paste or normal conditioner it will feel like you've put nothing on. Trust me, you have.
I was worried I wasn't going to like this bar but I'm so happy I stuck with it!
It smells great, conditions well and is very easy to use. I love the fact that there's no plastic and you can use every ounce of it.
I got the mango bar and it smells absolutely amazing! Was surprised by how soft my hair was as it didn’t seem as if much actually went on to my hair. Will definitely buy again!
Love these conditioner bars! Used every few days and my hair feels silky smooth and so easy to comb my hair after using it. It lasts for ages too. The perfect partner for the shampoo bars from green turtle.
Smells amazing! Hair smells lovely after use and is soft. Not great at detangling but I’ve yet to find an affordable plastic free conditioner that’s good at this.
