These recyclable handmade scrubbers are plastic-free and made using only rust-free galvanised metal and biodegradable noir coconut bristles.

The brushes are made from a traditional design with tough and rigid coir coconut bristles, and easy to hold. The core of the brush uses a galvanised metal loop that’s designed to be rust-free. They’re incredibly versatile and can also be used for pots, furniture, tiles and decking in and outside the house.

Robust and durable design to help it last as long as possible.

The brushes are handmade in Sri Lanka. With every brush, support goes towards helping traditional skills and industries - like crop and cottage industries, and also help support workers, ensuring they get fair wages.

Available in three sizes:

Small: approx 6cm x 10cm

Medium: approx 7cm x 10cm

Large: approx 15.5cm x 10cm

It does the job and does it well!

These brushes were popular throughout the 70s & 80s in the Tropics and have come full circle! For something that isn't made from nasty plastics, it's about as hard-wearing and effective at cleaning as is materially possible.

Hi Cassie. We're delighted you are so happy with the dishwashing brush! Isn't it funny how the traditional items are so sustainable? It's great they're coming back!
