Salt of the Earth's crystal deodorant was the first product to be offered by Salt of the Earth in 1993. It is a stick of pure potassium alum, a natural mineral salt that has been used as a deodorant for hundreds of years. It works by leaving an invisible layer of mineral salt on the skin to inhibit the growth of odour causing bacteria. The deodorants offer long-lasting protection from body odour with minimal impact on the environment.
To use: The natural crystal comes in an easy to handle shape, just take it out of its box to use. Apply to damp skin after washing. To use on dry skin, wet first and then apply. Dry crystal thoroughly before placing back in the box to increase its lifespan. Alternatively store in a clean, dry place.
Caution: May mark some household surfaces, marble and natural stone.
